Owner's Classes

Sewing Machine Owners’ Class: October 6th, 13th, and 20th from 9:30-3:00 or from 6:15-9:00p.m.

The first class session in each series is for all new sewing machine owners. We will cover proper care of your machine; needles, thread, and presser foot know-how; and using basic stitches. Following sessions will go into greater detail on computer machines. The more features your machine has, the more classes you will have.

Embroidery Machine Owners’ Class : September 20th, 21st, and 22nd from 9:30-3:00 or September 21st, 22nd, and 23rd from 6:15-9:00, and November 2nd, 3rd, and 4th from 9:30-3:00 or 6:15-9:00.
Learn about the embroidery features of your machine. In the first class we will discuss stabilizing, hooping methods, embroidery threads, and needles. This first class is a prerequisite to the two that follow.

Baby Lock & Janome Serger Owners: Tues. Sept. 14th from 9:30-3:00 OR 6:15—9:00p.m Tues. Oct. 5th from 6:15-9:00 or Thurs. Oct. 7th from 9:30-3:00.    Wed. Nov. 10th from 9:30-3:00 or 6:15-9:00.
In this basic class, you will sew samples of various techniques to use for future reference as you explore the capabilities of your serger.

Evolution & Cover Stitch Owners: Thurs. Sept. 16th from 9:30-3:00 or 6:15-9:00.   Thurs. Oct.7th from 6:15-9:00 or Fri. Oct. 8th from 9:30-3:00.   Thurs. Nov.11th from 9:30-3:00 or 6:15-9:00

This class addresses the chain stitch and cover stitch features of your machine and extra attachments
